Radiance Mask // 2oz

Comes as a dry clay, giving you the creative power to blend with different mixing agents, to truly customize to your skin’s specific needs.

Ingredients : Australian Pink Clay, French Pink Clay, Mango Fruit Extract.

Why we chose these ingredients

Australian Pink Clay // Balances the most stressed and sensitive skin. Draws out impurities, toxins and pollutants from the skin. Refine fine lines and bring moisture to the skin.

French Pink Clay // Cleanses and detoxifies the skin, removes dead skin cells and creates an overall refreshed appearance.

Mango Fruit Extract // High in Vitamin A, C and Beta Carotine. Will help to prevent the degeneration of skin cells and restore the flexibility of the skin.

How to use

  1. Mix I tsp of Radiance mask with water to create your basic mask concoction.

  2. Massage the mask into your skin using either your hands or a brush.

  3. As for how long you leave it on for...typically I suggest letting it sit until its dried. If your mixing it in with an ingredient that wont dry down, such as honey or the face oil then I recommend letting it sit for at least 10-20 minutes

  4.  Rinse off with warm water, you can use a face cloth, just be warned it may stain light coloured cloths.

Other options to mix in with your radiance clay

Lemon Juice // brighten

Honey // reduce fine lines

Pumpkin Oil (comedogenic rating 2)- Rich in Vitamin E, Zinc, Omega 3- and 6- fatty acids as well as antioxidants, therefore it has tremendous benefits for the skin in terms of retaining moisture, fighting free radicals and maintaining a youthful appearance. The high amounts of Zinc and Vitamin E also improve skin tone, help wounds heal more rapidly, fight acne and help with skin renewal, plus the minerals and vitamins have anti-aging effects as well.

Red Raspberry Seed Oil (comedogenic rating 1)- Often referred to as nature's natural sunscreen, a 2000 study found that the UVA and UVB protection afforded by raspberry seed oil is reportedly similar to titanium dioxide with an SPF protection factor against UVB rays of 28-50, and an SPF protection factor against UVA rays of around 8 (I would still suggest using your regular sunscreen along with the Nourishing Balm). Raspberry oil is also high in Essential fatty acids, Vitamin E and Polyphenols which means it is an excellent source for cell regeneration, protecting your skin from free radicals , improving tone and elasticity.

Avocado Oil (comedogenic rating 2) -  Contains a high amount of proteins and unsaturated fats, both of which are strong skin agents. The oil contains a substance called sterolin, which studies have shown to help soften the skin and reduce the signs of age spots. Lastly it is rich in antioxidants, making it useful for healing sun-damaged skin. Vitamins like A, D and E in avocados cause the skin to be supler, and are thus particularly wonderful for dry or aging skin.

Borage Oil (comedogenic rating 2) - known as one of the richest sources of essential fatty acids. It is the richest source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) - up to 25%.  It is also a fantastic source for vitamins, and minerals.

Cleansing Oil

Cleansing Oil // Tamanu + Wild Citrus

A beautifying, skin loving blend of botanical infused carrier oils and restoring organic essential oils. The Cleansing oil will remove make-up and deep cleanse your pores, all while being safe and effective for all skin types.

How to use

1) With dry hands and dry face....why you ask?? As water and oil don't mix, you'll get the best deep cleanse when keeping water out of the picture. The cleansing oil will also remove make-up, so you don't need to use one before hand :)  Use about a quarter size amount of cleansing oil and massage onto your skin, focusing longer on any problem zones. I suggest anywhere from 30-60 seconds.

2) Once your done cleansing your face, your going to want take a face cloth and warm it up under your tap, using warm to hot water...nothing to hot that its going to burn your skin! Wring out the excess of the water, so your left with a heated up cloth.  Lay the cloth over your face again from anywhere 10-60 seconds....it really all depends on how much time you have and how much of a deep cleanse you want. The longer you steam your face with the cloth the deeper cleanse you will get as it will break down more oil in your pores.  I personally leave my cloth on for about 20 seconds.

3) Once you have left your nice warm face cloth on your skin for your chosen time of relaxation.....just take the cloth and gently in circular motions wipe off the oil.  Warm the face cloth again and repeat the removal process.

***** You MUST remove the oil cleanser with a face cloth!!! just rinsing it with water will not remove it properly :)

Why its good for all skin types

Cleansing oil's are one of the only forms of cleansers that are safe and effective for all skin types.  It will cleanse and help to re-balance your skin, while keeping it hydrated.  It's never going to strip your skin or damage your moisture levels.

Dry/Sensitive skin - It will gently remove your make up and any oils without being aggressive on your skin, It's not going to dry you out and it will help hydrate and heal any flaky patches as you cleanse.

Oily/Combination - The cleansing oil will help to break down any sebum build up in your pores.  Without stripping your skin, which means it will keep your natural sebum (oil) production balanced.

What Oils Do I Use and Why

Safflower Oil (comedogenic rating 0) - Rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that offers many benefits for skin, including maintenance of the cell membrane integrity.
